What makes MooMallow marshmallows different?
MooMallow marshmallows are handmade in small batches using high-quality ingredients and thoughtfully developed flavors. Unlike store-bought marshmallows that are designed to be shelf-stable for months, ours are soft, pillowy, and fresh — with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that feels more like a confection than a candy aisle staple.
They’re crafted for people who love the little luxuries — whether that’s elevating a cup of cocoa or building the most unforgettable s’more.
What sizes do you offer?
We currently offer:
- Classic Cubes – Perfect for snacking, hot cocoa, gifting, and everyday indulgence.
- Campfire Cuts – Larger marshmallows designed for roasting, s’mores, and dramatic hot chocolate moments.
Each bag includes the weight and approximate piece count in the product description so you can plan accordingly.
How long do they stay fresh?
Our marshmallows are best enjoyed within 3–4 weeks of delivery for peak softness and flavor. However, you can continue to enjoy them as long as 3 months from the time of making.
They are made fresh in small batches and do not contain the preservatives found in mass-produced marshmallows — which is part of what makes them so special. We recommend that you store them in a ziploc bag sealed between snacking sessions to maintain softness.
It is best if you store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Refrigeration is not necessary and may change the texture. Marshmallows are sensitive to heat. During warmer months, we recommend bringing your package indoors as soon as it arrives. While they hold up well in transit, prolonged exposure to high temperatures may affect texture.
How do you handle allergens & cross contamination?
Your safety matters to us, and we believe in being fully transparent about our ingredients and processes.
All MooMallow marshmallows are produced in a licensed commercial kitchen where common allergens — including soy, dairy, wheat, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts — are present. Please note: Soy is used in our production process (via pan spray), and therefore all flavors contain soy.
Some flavors may also contain additional allergens such as dairy, gluten, or nuts depending on the recipe. Each product page lists specific ingredients for that flavor so you can review details before purchasing. While we follow strict cleaning and sanitation procedures between batches, we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact. If you or someone you’re ordering for has a severe food allergy, we recommend reaching out prior to placing your order so we can help you make the most informed and comfortable decision.

Are the marshmallows vegetarian or vegan?
Currently, we make all of our marshmallows with pork gelatin, which means that they are not vegetarian or vegan.
Are they safe for roasting?
Absolutely. Our Campfire Cuts toast beautifully — golden on the outside, soft and molten inside. Because they’re fresh and pillowy, they may toast slightly faster than grocery store marshmallows, so keep an eye on them for that perfect golden finish.

Shipping & Orders
How long does it take to process my order?
Because MooMallow marshmallows are handmade in small batches, we take a few days to craft, cut, and package each order before it ships.
Our typical processing time is 2–4 business days, plus shipping time based on your selected delivery method.
During holidays, seasonal launches, or high-volume periods, processing times may be slightly longer. When that happens, we clearly communicate updated timelines on our website before you place your order — so there are no surprises.
We believe fresh marshmallows are worth the short wait — and we promise they’re made with care every step of the way.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within a few business days. Shipping time depends on your selected shipping method and location. We ship your marshmallows from the shadows of Mount Hood in Oregon, so typically USPS Ground Advantage will deliver within 5 business days to the contiguous US. You will receive tracking information once your order ships so you will know when you can expect to check your mailbox.
Do you offer local pickup?
We are based in Sandy, OR so there are a few options for pickup if you are in the area. Place your local order here, and choose if you want to pick it up from our shop or at the Vancouver Farmers Market.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
If your order has not yet shipped, we’ll do our best to accommodate changes. Please contact us at help@moomallow.com as soon as possible after placing your order.
